Gold and Green – Back on the Streets

Anybody walking around Manchester at the moment would notice that at least one half of the city has taken to wearing just about anything they can find in the colours of gold and green. Seen as a fans protest against Man United’s current owners, what started out as a simple idea of reverting to the clubs original colours has gained momentum in recent weeks….. and theres no need for the feet to miss out either!
REEBOK ERS 5000 II is one of those early 90′s kicks that was seen as a classic running shoe of the day, it is now regularly re-released in various colourways to satisfy hungry sneakerfreaks. Although its a dead cert that Reebok did not intend to join the fans protest by releasing this (it was actually released to celebrate the Madi Gras festivals of New Orleans and Rio De Janeiro) at least now the gold and green goes from head to toe.
