Get hot to trot without breaking the bank

ONE foot in the credit crunch, but still want to look the shnizel?
Don’t panic as Sneakerfreak is here to help with a round-up of all that’s cool on a budget.
First up is the Converse All Star Ox Clear, a snip at £39.99 from Size.
These babies are your basic run of the mill Chucks, however on closer inspection, the usual canvas or leather uppers have been replaced by clear plastic, ideal for showing off your sripey socks, however first make sure there’s no holes in them, not a good look.
Next on the list of sneaks which won’t break the bank is the Pointer Seeker III, in brown, priced at £36.99 again from Size.
Despite being new, the British brand Pointer are following the clean aesthetic lines of the more well known Converse and for fans of All Stars or Jack Purcells, these won’t disappoint.
While we’re all friends of Sole Power, it wouldn’t be fair on a run down of hot to trot cut price sneaks to not include them.
So what’s on offer just a click away and tickling Sneakerfreak’s fancy are the excellent Adidas Campus II NBA Memphis Grizzlies, yours for just £39.99.
Campus IIs are a new version of the legendary Campus, a true eighties classic and a favourite of the Beastie Boys back in the day.
Elsewhere on Sole Power, if New Balance are your thing, and who doesn’t like a bit of British, then add a touch of colour to your winter with the 574s in blue, marine and green, a bargain at £29.99.
For a touch of Swedish style, Size has come up trumps again with the rather tasty Tretorn Tournament in white leather with blue camo trim, great to pick up now for your summer hols and a snip in the sale at £19.99.
Turning Japanese? Then Shuh might be able to help with the Onitsuka Tiger Saiko Runner in orange, green and white at £35.
Onitsuka, owned by Asics, are pretty cool and something a bit different if you fancy a change from Nike and Adidas and as with all the above, carry the official Sneakerfreak stamp of coolness. Remember you don’t have to break the bank to be an ace face!
